Program Overview

Dallas Bible Theological Institute (DBTI) offers Christ-centered courses and programs designed to equip students for biblical understanding, spiritual formation, and effective ministry leadership.

Our curriculum integrates Scripture, theology, and practical ministry training, preparing students to serve faithfully in churches, communities, and global mission fields. Students are guided through intentional learning pathways that emphasize both academic excellence and spiritual growth.

The mission of DBTI is to provide a Scripture-grounded, Christ-centered theological education that forms servant leaders who can rightly handle the Word of God and effectively advance the mission of the Church.

Programs of Study

DBTI offers structured pathways to support students at every stage of calling and development:

Certificate Programs:

Focused, one-year programs designed to build foundational knowledge in Bible, theology, and ministry practice.

Diploma Programs:

Expanded two-year study with deeper engagement in biblical interpretation, theology, and leadership development.

Advanced Track / Degree Pathways:

Comprehensive programs designed to equip students for high-level ministry leadership, teaching, and theological engagement, with potential credit transfer of 9 hours toward free electives in the Christian Foundations Certificate, any Associate’s of Arts, or any Bachelor of Arts at Leavell College.

1-YEAR CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS (15 Hours)

Students can complete the Certificate of Biblical Studies program in one year. This 15-hour

program includes 1.5 credit hours in each of the following courses.
